A Club Member exclusive, this is our very first offering of a varietal Petit Verdot! A big, bold red wine with strong tannins that will develop nicely over the years.
Sourced from our Block H and Block F estate vineyard sites and aged for 17 months in a combination of 38% new French oak and 62% once-used barrels, this small-batch, 100% Petit Verdot, showcases the exciting potential of Petit Verdot as a standalone varietal here in Southern Virginia.
While Petit Verdot has long played a strong supporting role in our signature red blends, this release gives it the spotlight it deserves, especially given the quality of the 2022 vintage. This is the third wine to be released under our new Teaghlach Series!
