2023 Chardonel
A member of our Teaghlach Series Wines, this Chardonel is made from 100% Chardonel grapes aged for 16 months in barrel.
The 2022 Chardonel is a very limited release that Justin's been working on for a while now. He set aside a puncheon (double barrel) of Chardonel from our 2022 vintage and allowed it to age on the lees (or yeast cells) for 16 months. In comparison, our Lineage is aged for only 7 months on the lees prior to bottling. This gives this wine more complexity, and a fuller body, with aromas of poached pear, sweet pineapple, toasted coconut, and a hint of vanilla.
Only 50 cases were produced. Club Exclusive.
