2023 Kilravock

The name Kilravock comes from the castle in Scotland from where we can trace our ancestry of the Rose family.  We chose to use this name for our signature red wine blend, which allows us the opportunity to make the best wine possible from each vintage, hand selecting the barrels that we feel produce the best wine.

Our Kilravock begins with aromas of aromas of black cherry, fig, licorice, and violet.  On the palate it is a bold wine with a strong finish and drying tannins.  If drinking now, be sure to decant this before enjoying to help release all of the aromas and lighten up those tannins a bit.  This wine comes from an exceptional vintage here at Rosemont and we expect it to age well over the next 10 to 15 years.  

           44 % Merlot, 28% Petit Verdot, 28% Cabernet Franc
