2023 Tannat
Part of our Teaghlach series of wines, the 2023 Tannat is a lucious, full-bodied wine with dark, jammy aromas of plums, black currants, and blueberries with undertones of allspice.
The 2023 blend of our Tannat is comprised of 86% Tannat and 14% Merlot. It has a full body that finishes with strong tannins, that will age beautifully over the next 10 years. This grape, traditionally used for blending, shows that it can take center stage on its own.
We love it with a fire-grilled ribeye or with smoked brisket, which pair well with the strong tannins present in this wine. If you're feeling adventurous, we would also recommend pairing it with a dark chocolate dessert, garnished with some fresh berries!
