2022 Vintage 1858
Our latest release of our Club Exclusive red blend named after the year the Rose family purchased the Rosemont Estate.
1858 is one of our signature blends that is named for the year that the Rose family purchased the farm on which our vineyard and winery reside. It began as an experiment to try out a new blend, and over the years it has become an expression of Justin's take on his new-world style winemaking training. This vintage is the newest wine to be release under our Teaghlach Series, and is reserved exclusively for our Club Members.
The 2022 vintage is a blend of:
40% Petit Verdot, 35% Merlot, and 25% Tannat
The 2022 vintage of 1858 is rich and fruit-forward with hints of black raspberry preserves, molasses, cinnamon, and violet, with earthy undertones. It has a full, rich body that will age gracefully over the next 10 years.
